Storms In Your Life

 Storms

Sometimes in life, you may ask God “why” your going through certain things.  It’s just second nature for us.  Face it – we’re all human.

He asks that we don’t question his judgment. For he is all knowing, and with that he knows what is in our best interest.

Do you think for a moment, or even a second that he didn’t know what he was doing from the very beginning of time, by creating this beautiful world for us? He put 6 days into creating the universe.  He gave each item he created a meaning and a purpose to be here.

Do you think he didn’t know what he was doing when he sent his only son to this wicked world?

Do you think that he didn’t know that Jesus would have to die a cruel and painful death for you and for me? We were all on his mind, even before we were born, he knew our name. He knew we would make mistakes, yet he did it anyway.

Since he loved us enough to send his best from Heaven… don’t you think that he wants the absolute best for us? After all, we are made by his own image. Why would he do anything that wouldn’t give HIM the glory he deserves? He wouldn’t have sent Jesus down here if he didn’t love us the way he does.

God, unlike most parents, never had to worry about Jesus doing things that he shouldn’t.  He sent his son to save this world.  He never had to worry about the people or friends that he would be around.  Because he came to save the world.

For example, the woman at the well.  Most people would have passed her on by, because of the things that she had done.  But, he already knew the things she did, and came to her anyways.  Coincident? I think not.  He ministered to her, and told her that he could give her water that would never make her thirst again.

He loves each and everyone one of us – just the SAME. Yes, I said the same. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done, he is always there – arms wide open – waiting for us to come to him.

Proverbs 18:24 says:

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”

With all this, how could we not want to be best friends with God? He’s with us always, and directs our paths.

Yes, there are trials, but that is to make our faith stronger.  By realizing, we CANNOT do this on our own?

Do you know him today?

Please don’t turn him away.  Keep your eyes towards Jesus, and he will bring you through whatever storm you’re facing, and in the end – you will see that he never left your side. You were never alone. Daily prayer isn’t an option, it’s a necessity.
